They also will be provided with opportunities to advance their communicative skills as they discuss in break-out rooms the weekly topics. Finally, this module will provide ample opportunities for individual and collaborative reflection, and engagement in and with cutting edge research on teaching and learning in physical education. This module will address two Core Elements of the CEIM Standards for Initial Teacher Education. In some online tutorials a physical education teacher will be invited to share the reality of the weekly content from the school and active teachers' perspective. The focus within labs will allow experience to apply the theory into practice in rewards to physical education curriculum and instructional models, management strategies and digital technologies to facilitate student learning, and the enactment of formative assessment practices. Throughout this experience, opportunities to achieve module outcomes will include critical reading, whole and small group discussion. Careful and critical reading accompanied by ticket-to-class submissions, online lectures, insights and issues to discuss is a central part of making this programme work as a learning community. Students teachers will discuss on a weekly basis relevant research on teaching and learning in physical education. Silverman (2010) and Fitzpatrick and Russel (2019) will be a few examples.
